I know from my inside source that you arrived safely and surprisingly quietly at the base. I also know that your boyfriend Ben was waiting at the airport to meet you. I hope things went ok at customs and all the summer sausage made it to the base.

So far I like your new clubs and everything is ok with them except for that incident on hole 8 with your 5 iron. I think we can straighten it out.

I’m looking forward to your first reports. Take care! Sleep tight! Have fun! God bless! Hasta luego!

  24. angie says:

Thank you for all for your prayers. today was our first building day and it rained alot. but we worked through the rain and got everything done we needed to. i am glad to report i had no major injeries just some cuts. No I did not just play with the kids all day i saved that till after we were done working and yes i did use a drill and i did help build the house. we had really good food for lunch today and i dont think i have ever eaten so much at one meal ever. this is such a good trip already and i cant wait to see what else God has instore. one of my favorite parts of the day was playing soccer (football) with some of the little boys although the soccer ball was filled with nasty water and covered in mud so i was covered in a layer of mud it was soooooooooooo much fun running around and making their parents laugh because i fell alot and they just saw those kids having fun. i miss everyone back but it is awesome being here and expiriencing every thing.

Buenos dias niñas espacio! Your 5 iron is fine but I can’t believe I had the launcher lying behind the Pilot when I backed out of the garage.

I buzzed through all the pictures and rotated the ones that needed it. Anything else? Delete dupes or the ones that are very close to being dupes?

    [Kristy stop reading here]
I had heard from my inside source that Malachi wanted to be on your building team and I see by the pictures that he is.
    [Kristy start reading again]

Almost the end to an amazing journey! I am so thankful that I had the opportunity to be your prayer partner and share in your experiences. Even though the trip will soon be over, I will continue to pray for you and pray specifically that you can adjust again to “normal” life. Sometimes that seems to be the hardest. They say that climbing down a mountain is harder than climbing up, and that may be the case as you come down from this mountain-top experience.
Enjoy your last evening in Guatemala.
